Highly Desirable (Fast-Track Your Application)

While we encourage all experienced outdoor workers to apply, candidates possessing the following will be highly desirable:

  • Qualifications: Certificate II in Horticulture or Arboriculture (or higher).

  • ACDC Ticket: Current Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control licence.

  • MR Licence: A Medium Rigid licence is highly regarded (you must be willing to attain this to transition to permanent staff).

  • Plant Operation: Experience with commercial mowers, tractors, and specialised power tools.

Your Daily Impact

Your work keeps the region looking its best. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Horticultural Care: Mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and planting.

  • Arboriculture: Tree trimming, pruning, and vegetation control.

  • Infrastructure Care: Minor repairs to playgrounds and park assets.

  • Safety First: Adhering to strict WHS procedures and council policies.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for site induction, you must hold:

  • Construction Industry White/Blue Card.

  • Current Unrestricted Class C Licence.

  • Full Australian Working Rights.

  • Proven Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to team safety.
